Jiayu Chen

Assistant Professor

Jiayu is the principle investigator of the Building Environment and Eco-informatics Lab at the City University of Hong Kong. He specializes in conducting eco-feedback experiment, sensing and recoginzing occupants’ behavior patterns and building agent-based simulation models to mimic the occpants behavior for both residential and commercial buidings. Jiayu received his PhD in November 2012 in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University. Jiayu is also a big fun of lego and robot.
